I’m Jake Schoepf, and in 2023/2024, my world was shaken. Not only was I facing serious health challenges, but one of my sons was too. It was a wake-up call—the kind that makes you realise just how fragile life is and how limited our time here really is.

In that moment, I knew I had two choices: stay trapped in a life where my time wasn’t truly mine, or build something different—a life of freedom. The kind of freedom that allowed me to be with my son for every appointment, to spend real time with all my kids, and to never again have to ask permission to put my family first.

For years, I had done what society told me was the right path. I worked hard in the mines, grinding away to chase the “Dream”—buy a house, save for retirement, and hope that happiness would come later. But as I looked around, I saw people who had followed that path for decades… and they were still waiting.

I refused to let that be my story.

So, I took a leap. I stepped onto a path no one in my family had ever taken before—a path toward financial and time freedom, creating a life on my own terms. It wasn’t easy, but looking back now? It was the best decision I ever made.

Today, I’m living the life I used to dream about. I have the ability to earn more in a month than I once did in an entire year. I can travel, I make my own choices, and most importantly—I’m there for my kids when I need to be. No more punching a clock. No more missing the moments that truly matter.

Here’s what I’ve learned: listen to the people who’ve actually done it, not the ones who just talk about it. Real change happens when you go all in.
